Energy
- Talk to your child about what he is learning in school about the Green schools (Energy).
- Turn off your electronics switches at night e.g. your TV, computer and X-box. (they still use 10% of the energy when they're plugged in)
- Turn off lights and close internal doors when going out to keep the heat in
- Turn off lights when you leave a room
- Have an screen-free night at home - play a board game, read a book, bake together
- Check which appliances in your home are using lots of energy and costing you money
