The Green Team have made an action plan for Litter and Waste in the school.
Here are some examples of what we hope to do:
- making a Green Team of children, parents and teachers
- getting a green and brown bin collection for our school
- recycling milk cartons in the classrooms
- collecting food waste after lunch and dinner
- setting up collections for used batteries and phones
- visiting the local recycling centre with the children
- keeping scrap paper for art class and writing
- reducing the amount of litter around the school
- doing a cleanup of the area around the school
